Lose the new gallery format. It sucks. Before it was a simple command click to open a photo in a new page at the full size of my monitor. If I wanted a close up one more click. Now I have a tiny thumbnalil or a giant picture that I have to scroll around to see. This is not an improvement
The thumbnails are the same size as always, if you click them, the full size pic loads, and resizes to a smaller size, just like firefox would resize it for better viewing. If you want a clase up you still click it once. And there are links to previous and next pictures right there, sounds like an improvement to me. The direct linking was a temporary solution anyway, and the new gallery format is definitely better than ImageVenue et al.
Or do you mean the lightbox which this post doesn’t happen to use?
